Dear daughter and son, there are five important things about learning:
1. Learn so you got some skills and you could feed yourself, your family, and other people
2. Learn so you got some knowledge. Make something for this world
3. Learn to pass the final exam, get the certificate for the bureaucracy thing.
4. Learn so you could increase your iman, your love to Allah
5. Before you learn something, ask yourself is it important or not? Is it useful for you or for Ummah? If it wastes your time, just find other important things to learn. But always remember the point number 1 – 4.
Don’t let a room, named school, limit your passion to make a better world.
